These photos show the process of removing asphalt by mill-grinding  and the application of new asphalt

1. The existing asphalt is removed by a mill-grinding machine
2. Old asphalt is carted away
3. This thickness of asphalt removed  depends on the job requirements
4. Option A: The remaining surface is cleaned and primed
5. Option B: The entire asphalt surface has been removed to the  stone base.  This stone base is re-graded and re-compacted
6. New asphalt is  applied  and rolled to compaction
